چکیده
Mosquito-borne diseases are a consistent problem in Vietnam. Additionally, freshwater snail species agricultural pests and known to be intermediate hosts for several parasitic worms. There is need new complementary botanical pesticidal agents controlling these essential oils have shown promise. In this work, from 2 of Callicarpa ( C. rubella sinuata) 4 Premna P. chevalieri, corymbosa, maclurei, tomentosa) were screened mosquito larvicidal activity against Aedes albopictus Culex quinquefasciatus molluscicidal 3 species, Gyraulus convexiusculus, Pomacea canaliculata, Tarebia granifera. oil showed exceptional Cx. with 24-h LC 50 9.8 μg/mL. addition rubella, the chevalieri tomentosa notable activities canaliculata 90 values ≤ 20 These all rich sesquiterpenes should considered continued investigation as agents.

متن کاملScreening chemical composition of essential oils and antioxidant activities of two Artemisia species from Iran .
Essential oils of two wild-growing Artemisia species collected from west of Iran during the flowering stage were obtained by hydro-distillation and analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC–MS). Under the optimum extraction and analysis conditions, 23 and 19 constituents were identified in A. fragrans and A. hausskenechtii which represented 92.96% and 90.2...

The Piper genus is the most representative of the Piperaceae reaching around 2000 species distributed in the pantropical region. In the Neotropics, its species are represented by herbs, shrubs, and lianas, which are used in traditional medicine to prepare teas and infusions. Its essential oils (EOs) present high yield and are chemically constituted by complex mixtures or the predominance of mai...
متن کاملScreening for Antiviral Activities of Isolated Compounds from Essential Oils
Essential oil of star anise as well as phenylpropanoids and sesquiterpenes, for example, trans-anethole, eugenol, β-eudesmol, farnesol, β-caryophyllene and β-caryophyllene oxide, which are present in many essential oils, were examined for their antiviral activity against herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) in vitro. Antiviral activity was analyzed by plaque reduction assays and mode of antivira...
